Hackmanite Stone Bracelet

About this piece

Hackmanite: Hackmanite is a fascinating gemstone that belongs to the sodalite mineral group. What makes hackmanite particularly unique is its ability to exhibit tenebrescence, a phenomenon where the gemstone changes color when exposed to sunlight or other sources of ultraviolet light. This color change can range from pale pink or violet to a deeper purple or blue. Over time, the gemstone may revert to its original color when kept in darkness. This reversible color change is known as photochromes’ and adds to the allure of hackmanite.
